Biodiversity

Australian Museum LogoBiodiversity is the variety of all life forms on this planet, Earth. Invertebrates [animals without backbones] represent about 99% of all biodiversity. They are the most abundant and successful animals on the planet and occupy almost every ecosystem.

Land snails are important environmental indicators and biodiversity predictors and have a role to play in the monitoring of climate change. Their conservation should be a HIGH priority.
